Michael J. Buchanan
Michael J. Buchanan is an associate in the Tampa office of Zuckerman Spaeder.
Before joining the firm, Michael was a litigation associate at an international law firm in Washington, DC, where he represented clients in large-scale financial services and securities litigation, regulatory matters, national class actions, and contract disputes. He was previously a law clerk to the Honorable Gregory A. Presnell of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Michael graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an executive member of the Student Bar Association and served as Editor-in-Chief for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. While in law school, he was also a member of the Moot Court Team and a research assistant for The Georgetown Law Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure.
